How to Submit a Podcast to Pandora

Hey everyone! This is Ashley with RSS podcasting. In this episode, I’m walking you through how to submit a podcast on Pandora. They may be widely known for music, but Pandora has recently become another popular way for listeners to tune into their favorite podcasters. Here’s how to get your show on the platform.

First, head to You will need a Pandora account to submit your show. If you don’t have an account, register first, and then come back to the Amp Playbook landing page.

Once you’ve logged in, you should see a message that says “Welcome to Amp!” On this page you can submit your podcast. Choose your submission type as “Podcasts,” and then click “Start Submission” 

On the podcast RSS Feed page, you’ll copy and paste your feed from your hosting account into the URL form. Then, click “Next.”

On the podcast details page, you’ll share whether your show’s playback order is episodic or serial; if the show is timely or evergreen; if your show is branded, the average downloads per episode and total number of downloads. You can get this information from your analytics page on your podcast hosting account.

Pandora will also ask if you would like to be contacted about selling ads in your podcast. Finally, you’ll share your podcast’s social media feeds, and then click “Next.”

In the podcast owner details section you’ll share your email address, and phone number so that Pandora can reach you if they need to. After filling out this information click “Submit.”

Next, you’ll read through the terms and conditions, and scroll to the bottom of the page to digitally sign your agreement, and click “Submit.”

Provided there were no errors in filling out the form, you should see a pop-up that reads “Congratulations! Your podcast has been submitted to Pandora. Please allow up to 4-6 weeks for the team to review your submission.” 

Click “Ok,” and you will be taken to your podcast dashboard, where your status should now read “In Review.”

You’ll receive an email from Pandora after the team has reviewed your submission letting you know whether or not it has been accepted to go live on their page. If your show has met the review requirements, and you filled out the submission form correctly, hopefully your podcast will be accepted and visible on their website.

Our show took around three weeks to be accepted, and is now live on the Pandora website. And there you have it! Your show is on another podcast directory so you can keep spreading the word about your amazing show!

Hey everyone! This is Ashley with RSS podcasting. If you’ve been following us for a while, you know we consistently say that submitting your show to podcast directories is the easiest way to promote your show for free.

Today is no different. In this episode, I’m walking you through how to submit your podcast to Deezer.

Not sure what Deezer is? It’s a French online audio streaming service founded in 2007 that is accessible in nearly 200 countries. They have more than 16 million users across their free, premium, and family plans.

Here’s how to load your podcast to it.

Head to Then, hit the “Publish My Podcast” button.

Enter your podcast RSS Feed and click “NEXT.” At this point, you’ll receive an email from Deezer to confirm you are the owner of the podcast.

Copy and paste the code from the validation email to the Deezer website and again click “NEXT.” 

Now, you’ll add your podcast details including your provider name, podcast title, the genre that best represents your show, and your country. 

Then, you’ll share whether or not your show’s content is explicit, and accept the Deezer terms and conditions. Finally, you’ll click the “SUBMIT” button. 

The next screen should say “Congratulations, your podcast is on its way to Deezer!” And you should also have a link to the address that your podcast will be available on once it’s accepted. Save this link to keep checking on the status of your show.

You won’t receive an email, but as soon as your show is live, you can share the link with your fans and followers.

How To Submit A Podcast To iHeartRadio

Hey everyone! This is Ashley with RSS podcasting. Today I’m walking you through how to submit your podcast to iHeartRadio.

The iHeartRadio app is available on more than 250 platforms, and is also accessible on more than 2,000 connected devices including smart speakers, wearables, smartphones, and more.

Like I’ve mentioned many times before, the more places you load your show to, the more opportunities you will have for new audiences to find you and subscribe. Here’s how to do it

To get started, head to Once there, click the “Submit Your Podcast” button. From here, you’ll need to either login or create an account. Once you  successfully create an account , click the “Add Your Podcast” button.

Next, enter your podcast RSS Feed, confirm you are not a robot, and click the “Verify Podcast RSS” button. Then, accept the terms and conditions, and confirm that you’re the owner of the podcast before ultimately clicking the “Submit Podcast” button.

After you submit your podcast, you should receive a notice of “Podcast Submission Success!”  The notice will also say, “Show was successfully created and scheduled for ingestion. If the show has not gone live after 24 hours, Contact iHeartRadio.”

You can track the progress of your show’s acceptance to the platform by clicking the “Access Dashboard” button. Until it’s live or rejected, the status should read processing.

Once your show is accepted, it will officially be available via the iHeartRadio app and on their website. And that’s all there is to it. Your show is now on one more platform for new listeners to find you. Thanks for tuning in.

How to Submit a Podcast to TuneIn and Get Listed on Alexa

👋🏾 Hey everyone! Ashley here with RSS podcasting. Today I’m sharing how to get listed on Alexa and Amazon devices by submitting your podcast to TuneIn.

Ya know, one of the greatest things about podcasting is there are so many places you can promote your show for free. By adding your show to podcast directories like TuneIn it instantly becomes available to millions of new listeners.

Here’s how to do it. First, head over to TuneIn and sign up for an account. Once logged in, scroll down to the bottom of the page, and under the subheading “Communities” click “Podcasters.”

From there, click “Publish Podcast” Next, you’ll fill out the form with your podcast details. Then, accept the terms and conditions, and click the “SEND EMAIL” button.

At this point you should receive a notification that says “Thanks for contacting TuneIn!” If you’re approved you’ll receive an email from TuneIn about your show’s submission which can take as little as a few days or up to two weeks. We received our notice of approval approximately three days after submitting our request. It said our show would be live within 24 hours, and sure enough, it was!

Now when someone opens the TuneIn app on Alexa, they should be able to find “The RSS Podcasting Tutorials Show” on their favorite Amazon device. We tested it out, and found our podcast when we said, “Alexa, find RSS Podcasting Tutorials Show on TuneIn.” While it was a very specific inquiry, we must admit it was pretty cool seeing our show come up on our screen when we said the request into our FireStick!

In this video, we’re addressing one of the most common questions we’re asked, which is whether or not you need a website for your podcast. The truth is you do need one, and there are 6 reasons why.

Your website is the perfect place to direct your listeners to so they don’t have to try and remember the information related to that resource.

Whether they are your offerings or someone else’s, having a website allows your listeners to take advantage of special deals and offers you may have available. This is a wonderful way to better monetize your audience, and increase your revenue.

How to Get Your Podcast on iTunes

Hey everyone! Ashley here with podcasting. Today I’m sharing how to get your podcast on iTunes, which has long been considered the best place to have your show listed. While other directories like Google Podcasts and Spotify are favored by many hosts, iTunes still reigns supreme.

So here’s how to get your show on the platform. First head to You’ll need to create an Apple ID if you don’t already have one. Otherwise, login to get started.

Once you’ve logged in, the first screen you should see is an RSS Feed submission form. Fill in your feed’s url, and then click validate.

After it’s been validated, the details of your show should populate on the page, and if there are no issues, the status will say “Prepared for submission.” Now, click the submit button to have your show sent to Apple for review.

Once you click submit, it may take a few moments, but you should receive a pop up that says “podcast successfully submitted for review.” The notice also indicates that Apple will email you once the review process is complete.

Click Ok on the pop up and you’ll be taken to your podcast’s iTunes page where you should see a status that says “submitted for review.”

If everything is in order, you’ll receive an email from Apple that indicates your show has been approved for iTunes. If not, it should explain why it was rejected with instructions for fixing the issues for resubmission.

The approval email will contain a link to your show on the iTunes store and information on when it will be live and visible using search. And that’s all there is to it. Now you can update your website with your iTunes link and tell the world your show is officially on the platform. Thanks for tuning in.

Help Your Podcast Grow with Stats

Today I’m sharing a very exciting announcement. In September Podcasting started beta testing our brand-new analytics dashboard.

We’re always adding new features to user hosting accounts, and one of the features that has been requested is analytics. You asked! We delivered! 

If you log into your hosting account, you’ll see there is a new analytics tab next to the my podcast tab. Click that and you can see your current numbers.

At the top of the page you’ll see your subscriber and download numbers.

Scroll down a little on the page and you can view your top five episodes based on the number of downloads.

Scroll down a little further and you can view the most popular time that your audience is downloading your episodes by time and day of the week.

Our current analytics dashboard is still in beta, but we’re working on some more exciting features for our podcast hosting customers. Soon we’ll have geolocation of your subscribers so you can tell what part of the world is listening to you the most, and we’re working on adding a feature that lets you know what type of device was used to download your episodes. 

We know that this kind of information is important to understanding and segmenting your audience. The more information you can gather, the better. This helps you with sponsorships and opportunities to monetize your show.

Make Money Podcasting with Podcorn

Are you ready to make money podcasting? In this video, we show you how to find sponsorships for your show using Podcorn. 🎧

Podcorn is a marketplace for podcast sponsorships, and Podcasting has partnered with them to help you monetize your show.

Here’s how you can add Podcorn to your podcast hosting account:

1. Log into your RSS account, go to your podcast dashboard, and click “Add-Ons.”

2. Once at the Add-Ons Page, click “Activate” under “Monetize your show.”

3. At this point, a pop-up should come onto the screen. Click the green button to enable tracking so sponsors can determine your show’s reach.

4. Another pop-up should come on the screen letting you know that tracking is enabled. Now, click “Sign up and find sponsors.”

5. At this point you’ll be directed to Podcorn’s website to create an account with them. Enter your podcast name and your email address, and choose a password. Then, click “Sign Me Up” to begin their onboarding process.

6. In the first step of onboarding, you’ll enter your first and last name, and click “next step.”

7. Next, you’ll tell Podcorn about your show. Upload a profile picture, share your RSS feed, select the category that best represents your podcast, and the country you’re based in.

8. Then, share how often you release new episodes, and click “next step.”

9. Now it’s time to verify your RSS feed. Podcorn will send an email to your inbox. Click the link they send you, and you’ll receive a podcast verified notification.

10. From the podcast verified page, click the “Go to Dashboard” button to complete your onboarding.

11. The last step is to click the button that says, “complete onboarding.” Now you can start browsing sponsors and sending proposals to them. Click “Sponsorships” at the top of the Podcorn website to view opportunities to monetize your show.

If you find one you are interested in, click “view details” to learn more. And, if you want to apply to work with one of them, simply click “Send Proposal”

Before you know it, you’ll be creating ads, and making money on your podcast. today I wanna share how you can make money podcasting with Podcorn. 💰

How to Use Temi to Transcribe Your Podcast

Today we’re sharing how to transcribe your podcast with Temi. Temi is an automated transcription service that you load your podcast audio files to, and get a written transcript back. Transcribing your podcast gives your listeners another way to engage with your content. Here’s how to use Temi in three easy steps:

1. First head to and click select audio/video file. When you first select your audio file, the screen will say uploading. Once it’s uploaded it starts processing. Before the file can finish processing, Temi will ask you about the audio quality. Answer the questions in the pop-up box and then click “Proceed.”

2. Next you’ll add the email address you want Temi to send the transcript to. Then click, “Send.” If you’re a new user, you’ll receive a notice to check your welcome email and that your transcript will be ready soon. If you already have an account, you’ll be prompted to login. When your transcript is ready Temi will send you an email with the final cost and a link to your document. Your first transcript, up to 45 minutes, is free.

3. Now, click “View Transcript” to see the results. As you’re viewing your transcript, you can click the audio player to see if the words that were automatically generated match up with what you said. You can also edit the transcript directly on the site to clean up any errors that you find. While Temi is not 100% accurate, it does a pretty good job for the cost compared with hiring a copywriter to transcribe your audio. How to Upload a Podcast to Spotify

Hey everyone! This is Ashley with RSS podcasting, and today I’m going over how to upload your podcast to Spotify.

There are over 250 million people across more than 75 countries worldwide listening to Spotify. These numbers are only continuing to grow, so, if you’re not on it, you should be! Here’s how. Head over to

Go ahead and create an account if you don’t already have one. As with many podcast directories, you’ll want to make sure that the email address you sign up with is the same one you used for your podcast host. Otherwise, you could get an error when you’re trying to submit your podcast.

Once you’ve logged in simply click get started.

Then, you’ll add your podcast’s RSS feed, and click next. Check out the link in this episode’s description box to learn how to create your podcast RSS feed if you don’t already have one.

Your next step is to verify you own the podcast that you’re submitting. You’ll receive a verification code to the email address that’s associated with your RSS feed.

After you’ve verified ownership, fill in the details of your podcast. This information is used to tell people who stumble upon your show what your podcast is about.

The final step before you submit your podcast is to double-check your details. If everything is accurate, click submit.

If there were no errors in submitting your show, you should see a success screen. It can take as many as a few hours to as long as a few days for your podcast to show up. Unfortunately, right now Spotify doesn’t send you an email to let you know if they’ve actually loaded your show to their platform. In the meantime, you can click track podcast to see the status.

Until the show is live, your dashboard will continue to say processing next to your submission date. Keep checking back to see if your show appears in the directory.

Once it’s done processing, you’ll see your show is live in the catalog section of your dashboard. And that’s all there is to it. Thanks for tuning in!
