FAQ: Why are my MP3 files played too fast?
In case the mp3 streaming player that comes with Podcast Generator plays mp3 files too fast (while when you download those files, they play correctly), you are experiencing the, so called, "chipmunk effect".
Older version of Adobe Flash player, in fact, have issues when dealing with mp3 files encoded at a rate that is not a multiple of 11.025 kHz. This results in double speed playback. To solve this issue, encode all your mp3 files with a standard frequency of 11.025, 22.050, 44.100 kHz (and so on...).
